Challenge
The problem.
UNOVE needed trained brand representation at one of the largest Korean consumer events in the US, across multiple days and a mid-engagement scope expansion, while carrying real California labor compliance exposure as a Korea-based operator.
Approach
What we did.
- Staffed and scheduled crew across setup day and multiple event days
- Executed a mid-engagement amendment covering additional setup crew and an extended first event day shift, without disrupting the operating schedule
- Incorporated California overtime obligations directly into the staffing agreement rather than leaving them with the client
- Consolidated all billing into a single final invoice across the original scope and the amendment
Results

Insight
Compliance is part of the service
A Korea-based brand staffing a major US consumer event carries labor exposure it often does not know it has. Building overtime obligations into the staffing agreement moves that risk to us. It is the least visible part of event work and the part that protects the client most.
